Seafood Rice (kinda like Paella) with Lobster, Shrimp, Mussels and Smoked Sausauge

Very similar to Paella this seafood rice with lobster, shrimp, mussels, and sausage is super easy and very flavorful. Get creative with the seafood and veggies you add for virtually unlimited flavor combinations! I like to add a little Pepper-Sauce to spice things up! 

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Jasmine Rice
  • 3 Cups Seafood/Chicken Broth or Water
  • 1/2 Cup Chilau Sauce (your choice of flavor)
  • 1/2 Cup onion flakes
  • 2 TBS Butter
  • 5 to 6 Lobster Tails (slice in half)
  • 1 LB Shrimp
  • 1 LB Mussels
  • 1/2 LB Sausage

Preparation

  1.  Add butter to pan with sausage and any veggies you plan to use and saute until sausage is crispy and veggies translucent
  2. Add rice and saute to toast until it starts sticking to the pan
  3. Add liquids and stir. Cover
  4. Once a rolling boil is reached add all seafood to the pot and cover
  5. Reduce heat and simmer until water is absorbed
  6. Garnish with green onion and parsley
